I am excited to announce that Zealot has begun the transition into a more traditional asset management company, still specializing in real estate investments. Our aim is to help people invest their money in real estate and earn a passive income over time. We are constantly on the lookout for investable opportunities in the top Tennessee markets, and we believe that we have found some amazing deals in the form of apartment complexes.
As you all know, real estate investments require a lot of capital, which is why we are looking to raise money for multiple funds to acquire these apartment complexes. We have engaged the services of Waterford Law, located in downtown Franklin, TN, to draft the necessary documents to create the Zealot Funds. These documents include Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), subscription agreements, investor questionnaires, and other legal documents required to comply with the SEC. Our goal is to elect Reg. D status with the SEC, which means we'll only be accepting investment from accredited investors.
Now, you might be wondering, what is an accredited investor? Simply put, accredited investors are individuals or entities who have a high net worth and are allowed to invest in things where non-accredited investors are restricted from investing. Essentially, the SEC deems that accredited investors have gained the experience necessary to better gauge risk and thus allow them access to more complex investment structures. There are specific guidelines around what the SEC classifies as an accredited investor. However, if you're not an accredited investor, don't be disheartened. We still value your investment and trust in us. We understand that many people are newer to investing or simply want full control over their investments, which is why we are considering everyone when we analyze new properties. Many properties do not require a huge amount of capital, and we are still buying good properties even if they don’t fit the Zealot Fund profile. These investment opportunities will be listed for sale in the DECO Discord and made available first to the DECO Community. In these cases, no investment will be solicited into Zealot Funds but instead will be sold directly to the end-buyer in the same way any other property would typically transact.
